What is Cube Volume?

A cube is a 3D shape where all edges are of equal length. Its volume measures the total cubic units contained within all six square faces.

V = s³

s is the length of one side (edge)

V = A_base × s

Since all sides are equal, area × height = s² × s = s³

1s = 4

2V = 4³

3V = 4 × 4 × 4

4V = 64 cm³

The formula is V = s³, where s is the length of any side.

Volume is always measured in cubic units, like cubic inches (in³) or cubic meters (m³).
