Parentheses Take Precedence (P): Always evaluate expressions enclosed in parentheses first before performing any external operations.
Multiplication & Division First (MD beats AS): Never add or subtract before multiplying or dividing. For 3 + 4 × 2, multiply 4 × 2 = 8 first, then add 3 = 11.
Left-to-Right Tiebreaker: When operations have equal priority (like multiplication and division, or addition and subtraction), calculate strictly from left to right.
